Back in 2005 when we stayed at Trinidad Lake State park on our way to Yellowstone and I took this pic:

This past weekend, 3 years later, on the way back from WeSTOC I took this one:

The SAME TENT!!!!!... they just showed up when I did.. it's obviously older and has seen some use... isn't that freaky?

Obviously, locals that like the same campsite.

LOL.. after I took that pic I was thinking to myself, this looks so familiar... the tent was really sticking out in my mind... didn't know why 'til I got home and looked at the older pic... I guess they could have had a sale on this tent recently and everyone in colorado got one but I doubt it... it was the only one like it at the campground.

The tent wasn't there when I showed up... 2 guys and a gal showed up later and put up this tent and a smaller one you can't see. The spot was empty before I got there.

Reminds me of when I ended up sitting next to an engineer who worked for GE decommissioning nuclear plants or some such. We had a nice geeky conversation between what I did and what he did for a living.

Must have been 5 years later I start into a conversation with the guy sitting next to me on another flight and have this powerful feeling of Deja Vu. Same guy! We ended up pointing at each other with both of our jaws dropped open when we simultaneously realized we'd met before.

I'm quite sure there are pics like that with my tent and gear at Willville.........someone somewhere is going "Exact same tent and gear but a different bike each time!" Since I always camp during the week I tend to run into the same folks over and over at m'cycle only places, and I almost always get the same site. Anyone remember George on the Tiger with the jury rigged pipe at Willville just prior to CampStoc? He was touring all the courthouses in the US. I've run into him several times since then. One day in GA and 2 days later in PA, then passed him twice on the road in the next week. Small world if you keep your eyes open!
