I'm hoping this might be a common problem. Because I wear bifocals, I must drop my vision to see the stock mirrors clearly. This means my eyes are off the road ahead, and is potentially dangerous. Are there solutions out there that can be suggested? Many thanks to all who make this an active site. I've learned a lot in the short time I've been logging in.

Other than maybe mounting Saeng mirrors on your windshield, the only other thing I can think of is a set of single-vision glasses for riding.

I have progressive bifocals and don't have a problem when scanning my mirrors. Usually this is just a quick look and then my eyes are focused ahead once again. Never had lined bifocals so I could not tell you what the difference would be.

I wear bifocals too and after the initial getting used to them period it is not a big deal, at least for me. It's just a glance down and back up. Single vision glasses had their own problem, that of blurry instrumentation and GPS which took a long moment to come into focus.
lascik surgery ......?? are you a candidate ??...... if so you will wish you had it done years ago ...... amazing being able to see ........ i used to wear bifocal
glasses ....

I've got the graduated bifocals and there is no problem. Lasik won't do much for me due to massive astigmatism. If I had the procedure I would still have to use glasses.

I got the eye doc to write a prescription for bifocals with the lower, "reading" portion a little less powerful, like you might use at a computer. Then had the glasses place make the lenses with the lower portion smaller than normal. I use these for riding and driving. The dashboard/instrument panel is the right distance away for sharp vision, and I don't need to drop my head much to look at the ST's mirrors.
