Hi Everyone,
I'm Bill, new to STOC,

Sold my Yamaha R1 sore butt too much, got a Honda 88 GL1200 frankenwing great comfy, too worn out with 120K miles, very too heavy too, as I'm 170lbs.

Sold the wing last March, spotted the sweet 2006, ever so soft ST1300, brand new at Mid Ohio Suzuki for $2500 off, watched, watched until I couldn't stand it anymore, and procured it! HA!

Best thing I have done in a long time.....................

Anyways, to the thread point,
since I obviously missed the june 19th shindig not being quick enough to find this site, I was wondering when you would normally do this type of thing again?

I was also wondering if there are more "not so official" G2G's (get togethers) that are posted on here or might be posted on here in the future.

I would love the opportunity to G2G and ride for a day or two or half.

I'm in Central Ohio and my wife has ridden on the back more with me than me without, she loves it, except she became a littl gun shy now after being coaught riding in the storm last Saturday at Old Man's Cave as we tried to out run the storm and got surrounded by it and she got scared when it just dumped on us till we found the shelter at the rock house pull in.

anyways, sorry to ramble but, just thought I would throw this out there, the bike is super smooth! LOVE IT!
feel free to e-mail me or post or whatever, be patient with my weekend responses!

The OHSTOC is an annual event, but there are RTE's (Ride To Eat) that happen throughout the year. We had one north of you at Mansfield early this Spring, and I'm sure they'll be more.

In fact, feel free to put one together. I think Yellow Springs is a fun location, but haven't tried it yet on my ST. Maybe tomorrow . . .

Glad you're on the site.

Well Crimeny, just do what I do and post when and where and they will come. Since it is looking like there are more people on the board farther south than north, have one in Circleville or even Logan. The guy who comes fartherest is Kevin from PA and I'm pretty sure an extra 100 miles won't deter him. I don't know how Ken would feel about a few extra miles. I just happen to like Bob Evans, but you folks are grown-ups and probably eat out more often then I do. Pick a date, place, and time. If I can be there I'll be there. If Gail is with I'll be on the Wing, if she stays home I'll be on the K bike.

Oh and welcome Bill. There are several 06's in OH, mine had the most miles of any when I traded it in on another Wing.

Time for a plug for another website called Ride Ohio (this is the Original Ride Ohio Website):

http://rideohiomc1.proboards82.com/index.cgi

That's me on my ST in the header photo. I'm the only guy in the group with an ST, but there are a couple Connies.

We have a group ride scheduled for July 19-20 in the Fort Loramie-Greenville area, complete with an overnight for those that want to partake. Here's the group ride thread:

Good group of folks, most from NE Ohio, but we have a good showing from central/southern OH too.

C'mon out and join us.

If you are going to be in the Greenville area on the 19th you should check out the AMA Grand National Flat Track race at the fairgrounds in Greenville. This is one of the best 1/2 mile tracks that run on all year.
