Here you go, Kempco. I uploaded a couple extra pics to show how hazy it is from the fires. The last pic is the new tag, not too far from the old one. I like those country roads up there, but 65 and 70 are pretty boring.

btw, if the resolution sucks, it's because my camera is @$$-old and I haven't really figured out how to shrink a picture (I'm a newb, but my zumo holds your tag pic just fine :D).

Good job Rob. My picture looked like yours until I tried to fit it on this page.

lol...I cropped mine...it was SOOOO close. But I couldn't shrink it w/ windows picture viewer (it wouldn't save below 2000 x 2000). So, I tried again with HP, but forgot to crop it first hee hee. Where is Clear Lake? kidding. Have a great day - find the bucket.

So the NorCAL and CenCAL tag spots are 106 miles apart...

Well, I guess the NorCAL tag spot is at least north of the CenCAL tag spot.

Rob, me thinks you make it too rough on your fellow riders... or maybe they just aren't interested in playing. Too bad, can't play tag by yourself.

Best of luck getting traction on this, I'm having a ball in SoCAL

I used to live on the La Porte road, up near Challenge.
In fact, this picture on the left was taken within 15 miles of Challenge on another road.

I thought that I would go down and take a picture today because the temperature had dropped so much here, Wrong it was 95 in La Porte:04biker:

Woo-Hoo! Way to go, Kempco! Hey, I'm a poet and I know it. Gotta get one of my kids to look at that new pic, though...I'm too old to read it. I'll try to get it this weekend if nobody beats me to it, but I gotta move the fiancee' in, too (drats on the moving part....). I got 1500 miles last weekend, though, so maybe this one will wait a bit.

Well done again, sir! Sorry it was so hot.

Maybe Dana will come and get it first. Or Adam.

Oh boy would I want to (stupid lack of money)...................can't make out the location though. I can see that it's a state park but not which one. Pic is too small.

Onicabbit, you are correct but now thew ride begins. Probably 450 miles for you. Sorry about the small pic, I'm not real savvy on shrinking pictures to download.:04biker:

Guess who's headed for Yosemite next weekend!!! Yup, the Super Tag Team will be within striking distance to Grass Valley.

Go for it Mac! That would be sweet, but you won't own two tags at once, because I just tagged your SoCal spot today! This is soooo much fun!

After a look at the map, I'm not sure Carole will want to make the run to Grass Valley from Mammoth Lakes. There is no easy way to get there across Yosemite and we will be with a group of Wanderers. I think the Empire Mine Historic Park will remain safe from the Super Tag Team this time.

What about the central tag location?

What about the central tag location?
That's a bit closer, but not that easy to get to from Mammoth Lakes. That's where we are going to be staying. If we were by ourselves, we would get both of them, but we will be with a group of 7 other folks. Monday, we leave for NatSToc in AR. You NorCal and CenCal folks are safe.

And now, without further ado,........

I know you are all thinking, "Wow...that was so fast. How did they get a new tag spot, so soon?"

Well, we aim to surpass expectations here in Northern California. After a couple-hour tease yesterday with the Pony Express crew, I went for a real ride today. Kempco or whoever else: You GOTTA do this ride, soon. What a great road, beautiful scenery, etc. Lots of sweepers, and some tighter twisties, too!

I did this tag mostly to disprove
East is east, west is west, and never the twain shall meet from the puns (Bob Meyer, before Gonzo lost his mind).

Well it's about time Rob. It only took you 2 1/2 months. Now the hunt is on.:04biker:
