Not real crazy about Lake Hill Motors anymore...

My ST had an ext warranty I got online + red rider coupon for something like $355. Great deal.

When I traded it for my Wing at Lake Hills we haggled over the trade-in price and then I told the salesguy that I had the extended warranty, "can you give me more for that?", he said no, we won't, just call the number on the back of the paperwork and Honda will refund it to you. Okay...

Well, they apparently sold the bike before I even got home from MS with the warranty attached...

I told them the RIGHT thing to do would be refund me the money I spent on the warranty or give me a warranty for my Wing. I really doubt I'll ever hear from them again as I know how most dealers are AFTER the sale.

I'll probably end up lodging a complaint w/honda and get my next bike at a different dealer...

I talked to him for a while and he kept saying it was traded in 'as is' with the warranty and never remembered telling me to send the paperwork for the refund when I get home. They have all my paperwork as that's what Honda said to send them so, we'll see... I'll call him back every day until I spend so much of his time on the phone that they refund my just to get rid of me.. If I have to... :D

Maybe it's time for a ST lunch in Corinth with a dose of picketing included... :D They have a decent mexican resturant in town by the Kmart! :eat2:

It would be nice to have the money on principle, but didn't you save way more money by buying at Lake Hill Motors than the warranty was worth?

I saved $2K on my ST buying there instead in DFW.
