I don't know if Todd's gonna be mad at me or not for posting this but I thought you guys and gals who know him should know.
Todd was admitted to Hartford Hospital last night with chest pains after learning a couple days ago that he got Lyme Disease. His wife Michelle told me that they just want to monitor his heart for a couple days to see if there may have been any damage caused by inflamation around the heart. I know Todd has a big heart anyway so he should be fine... But let's keep him in our thoughts. They do have a computer there at Hartford Hospital, but I'm not sure he knows about it or if he's tied down too much to get to the computer room. I'm sure he will check in here as soon as he can.

Kempo San called me earlier today. He's bummed about the situation but he's in his typically high spirits. You'd be hard pressed to find a more optimistic soul than Todd.
FYI, people, that's Todd riding the '05 up there in Georgeorge's avatar, with Michele in her most crucial role: keeping an eye on Todd.
All the best to you, big guy!

Wishing the best for Todd man for sure. For those of you that haven't met Todd and Brian, here's a few pics I got of them when they were in Fl for FL-STOC.
One of them shows Todd with the entry sign for state of Alabama... he just had to have a pic of that, living proof I guess ;)
Another is when I first met up with the guys in Carrabelle, and that's Todd doing his best Mellow wave ;)
The other is Todd and his good friend Brian (George George).
It was a real pleasure to meet everyone in that group and I really enjoyed their company.
Hope All's Well Todd!

Well, this isn't good news. Hope it all comes out for the best.

Todd, man that really sucks, but I'm sure you'll be ok.
Nancy's sister was one of the first confirmed cases of Lyme disease in Connecticut back in the 70's. It put her in a wheelchair for awhile because it attacked her joints... the doctors just didn't know what it was or how to treat it then. She's fine now.
Let me know when they let you out and we'll stop over... I still have to hear about the N.C trip.

I visited with Todd this evening at the hospital. He's tired, and getting the rest and care he needs. He's already going a little stir crazy and is ready to go home. For those of you who know him, that won't come as a complete surprise.
I told him that if I thought the visit through completely, I'd have brought a camera and shared the image of him in a light blue hospital gown. They added light green shorts to match. No doubt if he brings them home he will be willing to model for a small fee...but I digress! :-)
He'll be glad to see the posts from everyone here. Brian, I'm sure he'll be fine with you posting to the group. Besides, you aren't a HIPAA "covered entity" so I think you are safe!
On the otherhand, Bob is screwed for using the word antibiotics...

Get better soon summer is wasting away.
Ticks.Nasty little buggers. The season is in full swing here. You pick them up just walking through the field grass.
Along with checking your self out don't forget the pets.Dogs pick up a lot of them and are also susceptible to lime disease if I am not mistaken.
Be safe out there all.

Which way is easier to lose weight faster; riding your bicycle to work and back 44 miles each day or becoming a meal for some little deer tick?
Sorry to see you come down with this. I'm sure it isn't much fun. When did you first notice your symptoms? Hopefully you will bounce back quickly!
