She just got a call from her doctor that the ovarian cancer has come back.
We weren't sure but they had some suspicions while I was at WeSTOC and she
did some tests last week and just got some of the results.
Shes' got some more tests they want to run because her white cell count isn't
as high as it is supposed to be given this news, maybe they just caught it fast
and everything will get resolved much quicker than it did before. This time
she will get the surgery she was afraid to have last time.
Anyway, she's pretty tough, tougher than I am... but, any prayers you have
sitting around not doing anything sure can't hurt the situation.
Thanks for listening, not sure what my riding year will look like due to this,
there's a lot insurance won't cover as we found out last time, so my MC trips
are on the shelf for the moment but they aren't as important so that's a no-brainer.
Holding you both close in my thoughts and prayers.

Not only is the miraculous possible, I can attest to it happening twice to friends of mine. One had her heart removed for repairs and put back in. The other had cancer so bad she could hardly swallow. The first one sells real estate and the second one got her first motorcycle this year. I had asked folks on a different email list to remember them in their prayers. I'll spread the word for Rita. Best wishes.

The additional tests she went through are positive, Dr called her yesterday. She has a slight infection from a cold or something and once that is cleared up the 'plans' will be discussed.
She wasn't surprise. In the meantime last week she got her 60 day notice at work, the next day she interviewed and yesterday they called her saying they might call today so she can give her 2-week notice. She's happy about that since work has been causing her some stress and the place she will be going to next shouldn't be as much. I know, why is she thinking about work with this going on.. but, she says she has to keep busy, I can understand that.
I told her I'd cancel any trips I have until everything is back on track and she told me "noooooo get out, I like my alone time". LOL

Joe, best wishes and prayers on Rita's continued remission. Diane went through two bouts of breast cancer over the last few years and man, that chemo can be pretty brutal. She recently had the genetic testing performed and discovered that she is positive for the BRCA1 marker. After the first of the year she is scheduled for preemptive surgery to have her ovaries removed as we both feel they are just little time bombs in there.
