During my searching for various goodies, I am about certain that I saw exactly what I am looking for on a web site somewhere, but now I can't find it again (searched the history to no avail).
Has anyone seen an accessory shelf that mounts between the bars using the brake/clutch cylinder clamp bolts for mounting? (similar to the Texelent bar or the MT-Sun accessory shelf)
Thanks for your help!

I thought about doing somthing with the replacement RAM ball res. covers from MCL, two short RAM arms, and two more RAM balls bolted/welded to a metal plate... strong enough for most applications, adjustable, and easily installed/removed. Anyone tried something of this nature?
The only problem I would have with this idea is if the bike ever fell and the handle bars were to hit the ground would it break the clutch/brake master cylinder covers ending the ride.
I think the same thing could be done coming off the mounts and not off the covers.

Paul, had a similar thought, but can't believe that the interface of 4 balls and 2 arms at more or less right angles would posses enough structural rigidity to create that outcome. For what little weight I would put on it in my intended application (phone/RD/Ipod), it wouldn't need to be tourqed super tight anyway.

I use the MCL ram ball res covers. I mount a Roady2 on the left and a radar detector on the right.
I use the MCL risers with ram ball to mount GPS in the middle. I use short Ram Arms on the res covers and a middle size Ram Arm for the GPS.
