Hi guys, glad to join all of you here on the board.
I recently purchased a 1991 ST. It is a hi mileage bike, but still seems fairly servicable.
A bit about me, I'm 52 ,married for the last 32 + years to the same woman. We have 2 grown kids and 5 grand kids.
I've been riding bikes for 42 yrs. I currently have the ST, a Y2K Kawi ZX12R, a Kawi Z1000, and a 1975 CB750 restro project bike.
I have toured (both motel and camp) on my 12R and find it to be an awesome bike.
BUT now the wife is interested in going, hence picking up the ST.
IF she enjoys setting in the saddle all day then in the spring we will be upgrading to a ST1300 or GL1800.
Back to my ST. I am the 3rd owner. The bike is a locally purchased bike, first owned by an elderly gentleman who had to sell it at the age of 84 due to getting Alzhiemers. He was a long distance rider, with his favorite trip being Spokane WA to the Florida Keys. He logged 188,000 miles on the ST. The second owner bought it last year, put 10,000 miles on it and then bought a Valkerie Tour. Now its my turn to log some miles. I'll get to watch the odo roll the 200,000 point very soon!

Welcome. You'll enjoy the ST and this board. It's a great group of people with lots of good info and advice, along with a fair amount of good humor. Let us know when you hit that 200K mark. You're gonna make some Beemer folks jealous, ya know. :)

Welcome Ozzy.

I thought you said it was a hi mileage bike? :D

It is probably only good for another 100K :)

See you out there.

Welcome,
The 91 ST is a great bike... I know, I had one. Rode it for 11 years. Sold it and got a 2003 ST1300. I miss that "real" silver color.
