I have used a BOB trailer back in my days when I was doing a lot of mountain biking. It was the same type of thing. A single wheeled trailer. Other than the weight I never would notice it back there.

$1900 for the trailer. Ouch. Seems like there ought to be a way to put together a one wheel trailer for under $750.

I've kind of played around with a couple of ideas but ended up getting busy with some other stuff and haven't followed-up on it.

I was good with it until I found out it was made in Canada. The over-whelming amount of Canadian illegal immigrants really puts a damper on me wanting to support their economy.

$1,900 .... Hmmm .... seems very small for that amount of coin. I would expect to be able to sleep in it for $1,900.

UNI-GO starts (http://www.schoolhousemcacc.com/index.php/cPath/6_13) from 23 hundred. With options it can hit almost 3 grand!

Thats in interesting hitch concept. It looks like a longer axle shaft is installed, but it has to allow a pivot. A Heim joint would work. Anyone know the metallurgy of a Honda axle?

Mark, with your business dealings/frequent trips you support the economy of Mexico, a major exporter of poverty to the US.

I like it but what keeps it from falling over when stopped?

Anyone thought of one of these http://www.uhaul.com/trailers/sport-trailer-360.aspx

It looks like the use of the axle to hold the trailer on may be a problem for clearance on an ST1100's pipes. www.thirdwheeltrailers.com
Has anyone better pictures than the website of the attachment to the bike?
