I purchased some Ram equipment from Motorcycle Larry. (Kudos BTW for quick shipment...we're only about 15 miles apart. :))

Mounting plate: http://www.motorcyclelarry.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=50
and
Arm: http://www.motorcyclelarry.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=24_41&products_id=58

Anyway, what are folks using for nuts and bolts to hold the Ram mounts to dash shelves? I'm thinking I'd prefer black to blend in with everything else. And it needs to be rust-proof. I'm thinking black countersunk bolts with self-locking nuts.

What do you use and where do you get it?

TIA,
Jon

Try my favorite hardware store (http://www.mcmaster.com). They have a pretty good assortment of black hardware and Nylock nuts. I would strongly recommend a washer between the nut and your dash shelf.

I generally go for STainless. No worries about rust, and I like the bright highlights.
