I ordered and received a set of the under-mirror wind deflectors. They were easy to install and fit well, although an extra set of hands made locating them on the mirror housing a lot easier than they would otherwise have been. These deflectors cancel ALL the wind that rushes in under the mirrors. When I remove either hand from the handgrip, there is no wind coming in. These are going to make a very nice addition to the bike. They appear to be well made and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Which ones did you buy, Greg?

Darned if I can remember. I can't seem to find my paperwork, and I threw the box away and the instructions have nothing on them. I'll take some photos in a few minutes and post them. I was trying to locate the guy's post, but no luck. They're really a well-made item, though. I'll do some more looking around here.

I've looked all over and I can't find the paperwork that came with the deflector wings. I think it went out in the trash with the box they came in. Dumb, dum dum dumb!! But here are 2 photos I took.
OK, I finally found the original post by 04ST1300A, dated 6/12/05. That's too far back to access, however if you go to the general messages board, at the top on the right side, just above the first message, you'll find "pages 1--14" You'll need to go to page 13 and scroll down to 6/20/05, and you'll see a thread titled Under Mirror Deflectors Really Work. Click on this one and it will bring up the complete thread, including the initial one date 6/12/05. If you click on 04ST1300A, you'll get to a screen where you can either send him an email or a PM. I sure hope I explained this right cuz it took me forever to locate it.

Those look like mrbmp's wind deflectors! I have a set of the tinted screens on the 04 ST and they look great.

They look like the ones I got from Cal Scientific. Same nylon nuts and edge guard. Mine seem more swept back than the ones in the photos, but it's hard to judge. I had to send my first set back as the bent mounting portion of the plastic was not the same from left to right. I received back a set that were bent at the same angle and have been happy ever since.
