Greetings!

I've been thinking....

Similar to how I mounted my CB Antenna (http://severe.wso.net/images/ST1300/cbantenna/mount1.jpg), I wonder if I could mount my camera using the other hole? Would just need to find the right bolt with the correct length, thickness and thread count to screw into my tripod head.

I see a trip to Home Depot and Lowe's in my near future...

I also thought about mouting the camera on the tubular tip over bar using a u-bolt mount, but aside from potential damage to the camera from rocks and debris, I figure it would also put the camera way too close to the engine and the heat.

I'm trying to resist the urge to buy this: http://www.helmetcamera.com/

Figure the more ways I can find to mount the camera I already have, the longer I can resist...:hyp1:

what about some kind of rig utilizing RAM hardware... I thing they already have something. I have thought about using the ram ball on my riser plate, raising the camera just above the dash plane (which would block mr RD :( ), and shooting through the windshield.

GRN,

I already have the camera mounted on my MCL Riser Plate, peeking over the dash:

I'm trying to find additional ways to mount it ;)

Cowboy.....

Don't resist the urge

You're a great help you are

Did you get the 380 line or the 480 line version? How about LANC and/or the microphone they sell? If I did this, I would probably get the 480 X-treme Plus Kit - $359.00 and the LANC remote.
