Received a set of Larry's passenger peg lowering brackets yesterday. Installation was straight forward. Fit & finish are excellent. I did add a little strip of the "hook" side of Velcro between the bracket & bike to take up the little extra space the allowed the bracket to wiggle a little bit. The spacer can not bee seen after installation. I could have just tightened the supplied bolt tighter, but did not want to distort the orig mounting tabs. At first the pegs looked like they would be too close to my driver pegs, so I put my boots on & sat on the bike... I have no Clarence problems with my size 13s. Wife really likes the new peg position & the last bonus is that I now have an extra place to put my feet, for a change of riding position, on long rides. If I put the front of my boot on the driver peg, I can rest the back of my boot on the new pass peg bracket. I can also fold out the pass pegs & use them for another riding position.
All this is just in theory while sitting in my garage.. the first riding test will be this Sunday... Will report back if things are different. :03biker:
