Hey guys I would like to know if anyone has put a power commander on their cycle. If so did it make much of a difference in performance. I have the staintune pipes and a k&n air filter and wanted to know if he power commander would give me a little more hp or not?
Thanks :biker:

They only work on the '03 model, and are a marginal improvement at best.
Threads here (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=126) and here (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=125) . If I can find the article I'll post the reasons for the problems.

also my 04 is a non abs model if that matters
The last I heard straight from Dynojet is they are still working on the PCIII for the ST1300. In other words, there are more important bikes with larger numbers in which they are centering their attention. The ST1300 project might get picked up again if they are all caught up and have nothing else to do. BTW, I think all the PCIII was suppose to accomplish was richening the air/fuel mixture that is running lean on an ST1300.
IMO, the hot set up is the K&N, Staintunes and the TurboCity fuel pressure regulator. This is what I have and I am really happy. The modified fuel pressure regulator richens things up a bit without the computer getting involved. It minimizes the on/off throttle abruptness. I have no scientific data but I swear I am getting better fuel mileage too. The TurboCity modified fuel pressure regulator is not suppose to be a performance enhancement but provide better driveability. I believe it accomplishes both as my ST seems to be running more efficiently.

As Ray said Staintunes+K&N+Fuel Reg Mod is the hot setup for the ST13
Mine is good for at least 205mph!

I hear positive things about http://www.techlusion.com/. And it's cheaper than PC3. If I'm able to save ( without spending it on another farkle ), this is what I would get.

:D Thanks, I checked out the dobeck tfi unit it looked alot simpler to use and install. this promted a call to my mech , this is where it gets good ,he told me that someone at honda was about to release a program or product that reprograms your stock unit with the use of a dyno. The first stuff will be for the more popular sport bike models later this month, but with in a few months should be avalible for the st :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! HOPE THIS REALLY COMES TRUE....................................
