Anyone have this helmet? Quality? Noise? KBC advertises this helmet as being designed for touring and being quiet and free from turbulence. Don't know much about KBC but I've always had a hard time giving up $500 or so for an Arai or Shoei......although I'm sure they are nice. I guess I'm just looking for a cheap and quiet alternative.

Can't say much about the VR3, but KBC makes a great helmet for the price. And I may end up going back to KBC for my next purchase.

I can't say much about the VR-3 either, but I do have a VR-1. I loved it on my Magna, very quiet helmet on a naked bike and really good venting. If my memory serves me, I don't think I ever had a sweaty head. BUT now riding the ST1300 the protection of the windshield prevents proper venting and my head sweats quite often, and it is very noisy now for the same reason, the windshield. Overall I think that my VR-1 is a great helmet, just wish for less noise on the STeed.
If you are trying to get a quieter helmet, try to find someone with that helmet that will let you wear it around the block, or somewhere that you can get up to speed. I think that you may find most helmets are noisy on the ST.
Not at all complaining about the ST, but just wanted you to know my experiences.
