I already had the side bags but I did buy the tobox bag from the same company (and distributor) and it is good. Workmanship and quality looks the same as the Honda side bags I have.

I got a set from Hondaline Direct - wish I would have seen those first. At HOndaline they were $124 for the set of saddlebag liners - on ebay you could get both the saddlebag and top box liners for that amount with a bunch of money left in your pocket

Yes. I bought a set of these bags from this vendor via eBay earlier this year. Great price. Very fast shipping. Great transaction.
I use them nearly every weekend. Pack them up, head to the lake house, and unload. The handles and shoulder strap make it easier than carrying luggage. And you can squish a LOT of stuff in them without worrying about them fitting in the saddlebags. I can get a few days worth of clothes and my laptop on one.

Pardon my ignorance, but are these liners really useful? Or is it just another item for the bikes? What I really would like is an ORGANIZER for the bags and box. Right now I use Tupperware to separate all my 'necessities.'

I think that is why i'm selling my RKA liners for the 13. I normally use zip lock bags for holding small stuff and the liners from my ST1100 for holding clothes. (smaller than the ST1300 liners). I find it easier to get to my spray polish, maps, etc, when I can see where they are.

I will say that when I first got them I asked myself "why?". First long trip I took, packed them up and I was on my way. On arriving at my destinations, man was I happy for the purchase. To be able to take them bags out just like regular luggage is just great. That they form fit to the size of the hard bags just makes it more efficient and easier to use.
So I guess in the long run, if you dont plan on doing any type of travelling, maybe they are not for you. For me, one time was worth the purchase.

Well, you do have a point. I take my share of long treks, so I guess for the forty bucks, I will just buy them. After all, ya gotta keep buying 'stuff' for your ride, right?

Got them at the ame time as my top box..Use them to put my lunch and a pair of dockers for when I ride to work..Also used them for tent camping last week...
Clothes in one and toiletries and odds and ends in the other..how can you go wrong at that price...even if you use them a couple of times a year..

I used mine on my trip this summer, and was really happy to have them. Made getting stuff in and out of the motel much easier, and was surpised at how much you can get in them.
I learned that I really didn't to take as much as I did and glad I didn't get the larger ones. The standard will hold more then enough for a two week trip.
Haven't gotten the one for the top box, but will order it during the winter months, as a reminder there is a riding season in the part of the country.

Bought them and think that they are great. I got tired of carrying in the top box and saddlebag into the motel. If you ride long trips, they are the answer! Good price Too. :)

I agree that they are a necessity when taking long trips. You can also probably pack more onto the bike with the liners than without.

Sooo, give that I ordered them and will have them soon, are we still relegated to baggies for organization within the liners? Has anyone come up with ideas for those of us anal-types who need everything in its place, and handy???

Sorry, but can I ask a real dumb question?
On the Ebay ad there were some "double size" bags for an extra $10.
How do you get them to fit the hard case when they're full

I've got a set of RKA liners, which are full-size (full-depth), and a very snug fit in the side cases at that. They really are indispensible on a long trip for efficient and convenient stowage in terms of optimizing the space utilization and carrying stuff from the bike to your motel.
The thing is, as you're packing, you want to arrange things in them so that you follow the contours of the liner, which holds its shape fairly well as you work.
Clearly, if you just haphazardly cram stuff in there so that it bulges every which way, it's never going to fit in the side case. But if you're careful when you pack, and take some time to ease it into the case while tucking it in all around, it fits like a charm.

Hey redeye.
As far as I can tell, that is crap. I met up with some people at BearSToc and we got talking about these "big" bags. I have Honda side bags and an aftermarket topbox bag. The "small" Honda bags fit the sidebags and I have no idea how you could get any more in those bags. A bigger bag would do nothing to get more space.
So I have no idea what those "big" bags are, as the stock Honda ones are as big as the space they fit into.
Anyone else?

How do you get them to fit the hard case when they're full  I think I can shed some light here. I have the Hondaline standard liners. The standard size is designed to fill half the compartment with an additional outer pocket. The "double size" fills both halves of each pannier.
With the standard size liners you anal retentive types can still have your space for your little ziplocks.
Btw, the topbox liner fills the entire box.

Got 2 and use them all the time. Very usefull. The difference is that the honda-line bags are expandable whereas these aren't. Not too much of an issue since I don't really want my saddlebags fully loaded (I can then put in water and other nick-nacks for easy access.
Very conveinient when on a trip though. Load-n-lock!

Does anyone use a top box bag in their 52L Givi top case?
How does it fit?
Or what do you use in the Givi top case?

I just use hopnel nets in all my cases. I like the freedom of using stuff sacks for major packing adventures to keep different things separated... nets keep those organized well for me. I would go nuts trying to pack with the liners unless I was using them for clothing only, which has never happened in my travels.

You have an abrasive manner, Berzins, and appear to be underinformed. Study the following images (Hondaline, top; RKA, bottom) and you may get the idea.

Kevin, not really... I use compression bags designed to squash camping gear down to max density, can reduce the volume of typical clothing to less than half of the liner bags, and keep it contained without having to recompress it to get the pans closed. It leaves lots of room in the pan for all the rest of the stuff you want easy access to... best of both :D

I bought the full size bags and the top box bag from the same company via ebay, all I can say is that they are brilliant.
Before these I did have another inferior set of side bags which split afer I had crammed too much into them.
