Icon Recon Jeans - Anyone?

Thinking about picking up a set of the Icon Recon jeans for warmer riding. I've got plenty of regular jeans, but like the idea of having the 14oz material and armor in the knees. Anyone have some experience with these? Don't want to drop $80+shipping without getting some positive feedback.

I tried on the Icon jeans awhile back and was not impressed with the quality. I wear a size 36 and their 36 was more like a 33 or 34, and the 38 was a tentlike near 40+!! I tried several pair, and the same size was a different size for each pair. Whoever assembles these pants has zero concept of what a size is supposed to be. Turned out they were actually made in some foreign country, the name of which I couldn't pronounce. While I have no doubt that they will protect you in the event of a get off, I've got some real reservations as to quality of construction. You never know, though, you might luck out and somehow get a pair of pants that actually fits. Have you considered the Draggin' Jeans?
