Rode a Beemer today ...

Took a nice R1100S out for a spin today, and had a blast (of air too) for 25 minutes or so, even took it up to 90mph. Rock steady and generally fun to ride as most boxers are.

Then, after I got back onto my ST1100, I remembered why I got rid of my R1150R last year ... IT VIBRATES !!! :eek:

Compared to the boxer, my ST1100 is smooth as silk ! ... I'll never complain again. :biker: :biker: :biker:

I test rode a K1200RS last fall. I found many faults with bike. One of them being the vibration at idle. I was told that it was normal.

I test rode the new K1200S earlier this year. It was an interesting ride. It truly is a shaft drive Busa. 80mph in first gear, quickly. It was smooth at idle and all the way up to 11k RPM. I wasn't quite sure what other conclusions to draw since it just wasn't a type of bike I would be interested in.
