Sargent Seat Cost Down ?

I was on ebay and there are a couple of new Sargent seats going for $469 U.S., on Sargents web page the price is $619, decent savings if someones in the market for this seat.

I've seen those auctions as well. The seller has a decent reputation and the shipping is only $20. That's as cheap, or cheaper, than some here were able to purchase via the group buy. Great deal. I bought one off eBay for $495. The only catch is that the guy quoted 3 week delivery and it took 9 weeks. I sustect that Sargent was backed up and it might well have took 9 weeks from Sargents.

Otherwise, I love it!

Heavens, I hope so. I don't know which is worse: having a sore *** or getting a heart attack from paying over $600 for a saddle. :D

I am about to find out if the reputation of Part Monster and the Sargent are worthy of the praise I've read. I bought one of those on eBay for $469, which seemed a pretty fair price. Add $19 for shipping and not a bad deal. If I like it, I'll have the stock seat to sell.

Either way, I'll be happy to report back on the experience. Thanks much for the heads-up. :bow1:
