OK.....in the whole list of Stoc events coming up, there's nothing after OCT!?!?!?!? That's when I can have as much time off as I can stand! (within reason) Someone needs to plan a Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb or March Stoc event! Please!?!?!!!!!!! I'm due for some ride time. Maybe me and Todd can plan on attending something in that time frame. At least I'll be willing to consider it. Someplace warm though......like texas or arizona! How cool would that be. Maybe me and Todd could attempt a 50CC and then hang out in Arizona for a couple days. Then 50CC it back to Florida and then trailer em home. How cool would that be?!!! That would be like a 100CCC. I'll get Todd separated from his wife with all this ride talk.....SORRY MICHELLE!

That's right after the campground closes....That's actually my busiest time of the year with winterizing all the campers and then leaf clean-up for about a month. Anything after the middle of Nov.

I'm worried about Sandman. I met him and rode with him at EaSTOC. He's the nicest guy you'ld ever want to meet. I hope he's OK.

OH Boy.....Never make a redhead mad!! :(
I've been thinking about the 50CC..Not much vacation time left though..4.5 days.
We may be out of luck on the FL route though as from what I understand Katrina wacked some Route 10 bridges.

Brian,

We could also get the CT ST contingent (you, me, Dave and John) and go pay Carl a visit early November..Nothing like inviting myself to Carl's house :D

I want to go visit OCC and maybe a West Point footbal game?.

You know the sad part is the furthest west I have ever been is Lancaster PA..
How sad is that
Growing up, I was always visiting family north in Canada.

Todd,
You gotta go then! However you need to come back home through New Mexico, Colorodo, Utah, Wyoming ahnd see Bryce and the Tetons on the way by. You'd not regret the eye candy :D

Great Photos Carl..You missed the previous post where I am inviting myself back to your house in November..LOL

Seriously going out west is great. I would not want to compomise because of too little vacation time..If I do a 50 CC to get there I defininately do NOT want to rush back..I'd have to plan this puppy good.

If you decide to do the national parks tour next year give me a shout, I'll be doing it too, heck I'd even put you up for the night if you needed. I have a few riding partners, but none of them are long distance riders so I have to do all my long trips solo. :03biker: As far as that goes, the invite is open to any of the members here. There are some really scenic roads here iN WY, although we do lack seriously in the twisties department :( but the views you get from the mountain roads and some of the roads leading up the valleys is outstanding.

good riding,
George

Sorry Todd, I did miss it.

If you Jebonees are crazy enough to put on your woolies and drop in to see the Catskill Mountains all naked and such, I'm up for it. Maybe we'd get lucky and hit an Indian Summer week, but I wouldn't count on it. We'd likely see some snow on the ground in the mountains 2d and 3d week, but normally not any down in the Valley until Thanksgiving. Last year we had a few early snows, and some years back it held off until late in December. Weather could go either way, there have been some awesome Novembers for riding, just not lately.

We took 3 weeks off for the park tour thing, spent 11 days in the Tetons-Yellowstone area and don't regret one second of it. Some nasty snow amounts there in the winter though.

If you ever go to Bryce (highly recommended) do take the horsey/mule ride(depending upon what you get, I got a large ornery horse that kept biting my wife’s Mule in the as_). It’s a really great way to see the canyon and a fun ride with awesome views. It was so worth it compared to hiking.
