Gerbings heated clothing is on sale at Happy-Trail.com. At 10% off you can save $60 on the jacket liner, pants liner, gloves and socks. It is still kind of expensive, but when gas hits $4.00 per gallon I think a lot of people will be riding their bikes to work this winter.

Gerbings are great. I rode 140 miles last February one Saturday. When I left the house it was sunny and 12F. Stopped for a leisurely lunch, and by the time I arrived back home, it was a toasty 24F.

I got so many looks, thumbs up, and one guy even roled down his window and said "you the man!"

I was comfortable for the entire ride. Even though I live in western Pennsylvania, I was able to ride at least one day per week all winter long. If you don't have Gerbings, (or other heated clothing) you don't know what you are missing. I just wish I could've gotten them on sale.

Ditto on the Gergings... I have the Jacket Liner and the Gloves.

They are excellent... ridden in 30 degree weather and was completely comfortable...

In Minnesota if you have heated gear they laugh at you..
must be a Scandanavian thing,ya know.

A nice steaming pile of Lutefisk keeps you warmer.
