Hi guys,

for all you out there that were eagerly awaiting the return of Uni-go trailers, well, I've just been on their site and a deal has been done to start production next spring with enquiries being taken now.

Time to start saving up me thinks.

Anybody going to TEXSTOC can check out my Uni-go trailer if they are curious or have any questions about it. I will be happy to answer. It will be parked at the campsite but I will have it in tow at Sunday morning gathering before the ride home.

do you have a contact for the Uni Go and how does it attach to a hitch?

It attches to the bike via the mounting and a vertical thick plate is exposed, you will slide the Uni-go trailer tonge over that verical plate and then secure it with a pin/cotter pin and thumbscrew for minor adjustments.

The tongue is attached to a U-joint like you'd see on a car which allows the trailer to stay at the same axis as the bike. The bike leans, so does the trailer.

I think there were some quality control issues when it was in New Zealand but I think having it produced in the US will, hopefully, push the cost down a bit and make resolving issues easier. Well, if you are in the US anyway.

I really liked the one I had on my '01 Wing. And, don't let the small-looking size of this trailer fool you, it's like a v-boat hull, it looks small from the outside but it's deep.

I used to be able to put all the gear in my left and right saddlebags along with all my camping gear and an extra jacket in this thing and I still had room to put more stuff.

If you've ever also wanted some of the other ball-hitch accessories that are available uni-go has some converters that will add the typical ball-hitch to the uni-go hitch.

Another thing I like about this trailer is that it tracks with your bikes tires so if you avoid something in the road, so shouldl the trailer. And, even though it's not something you're going to load 400 lbs in, it's very functional. If you've ever considered 2-up camping, well, hard to do even on a Wing but this no only solves that issue it gives her room for some extra shoes...

I put maybe 20k miles on the one I had and then traded my Wing for the ST and the only issue the person I sold the trailer had was a tire leak that seemed to be coming from the rim.

...and let's not forget how handy these Uni-go trailers are.
