Hi all,

Anyone have this happen to anyone else's electric windshield? Riding home this morning from work I noticed my windshield was crooked, tilting to the right.

I usually raise my windshield a little when I get up to speed on the freeway and lower it when traffic slows down or I get off the freeway.

Every time I raised and lowered the windshield, it got more crooked, to the point it was bending the windshield support brackets.

Obviously something has broken in the drive mechanism.

I got home and took off the windshield, the brackets and the black dash cover to see the windshield rails. I activated the switch to raise and lower
the windshield and the rail carriers got further and further out of line.

I'm taking the bike to the dealership in the morning. I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else and if so, what broke to cause it?

Thanks,

Never happened to me, but keep us posted on the outcome. Hope they fix it same day! Good luck.

It looks like I'm experiencing the same problem. I was afraid my "5-cent gear" was stripped.

So what exactly needs to be removed in order to lube the tracks? The windshield itself? Plastics on the front of the windshield? Plastics on the driver's side of the windshield?
