Blue ST1300 Police bike sighting

Saw a blue ST1300 police bike near the Seattle Int airport, but couldn't see what city it was from. Then saw another blue one a little while later on I5 near the airport. Anybody know which department they represent?

The cities of Meridian, Idaho and Nampa, Idaho finally got their ST1300 police bikes. Nampa got 2 and Meridian got 1. I was privileged to see all three of them at Canyon Honda in Nampa as they were being torn apart and put back together again with all the accessories that make an ST a full-fledged police bike. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera either time or I'd have taken some "in progress" pix and posted them.

Today as I was coming back to Caldwell after dropping 2 prisoners off at the county jail in Boise I was coming through Meridian and saw their ST! It sure looked good, and the officer looked very sure of himself. It's mostly white with black trim and all the LED lights and crashbars and antennas. No one escapes from that one!

Those are King County Sheriff's Department. They have 2 colors of bikes. The stock blue ones and forest green ones. One of the colors indicates it's a "contract city" bike, and the other color indicates it's for unincorporated areas. I can't remember which color is which. I really like the dark green with the gold accents. It's a great looking bike...

Washington State Patrol should be getting their demo bikes soon, They have issues with the maintenance and tools for the Beemers they ride now.

A buddy who is a limo driver saw an LAPD on a new HD at LAX. He was able to chat with the LEO for a while and the officer said that LAPD has had it with BMW and is in the process of replacing ALL their units with HD. $14K per unit.

I like the top box on the green one. It covers the back seat so the rider has a back rest. Nice.
