I just bought this for my N100E. Needless to say, I am very excited.

Click on "VPS" on the left menu.

Good job Nolan! :bow1:

Kevin,
I've just purchased an N100E Classic too but I didn't get the VPS. Just wondering how it's working out for you. Are you happy with it? I also like to know where you purchased the VPS.

TIA

My color is backordered with Nolan. I don't know when it'll come.

I ordered it through Motorcycle Accessory Wharehouse.

Maybe I'll order a different color.

It just looks so cool.

You must have bought last years model. This years helmets have it along with the X-1002's. I am not that happy with it. The vibration has worn a mark on mine where the bottom of the vps touches the visor. I have gone back using the dark smoke regular visor.

How much noise does it add to the helmet. I have a N100E Cyclone and it is fairly noisy (I knew that when I got it as its my second Nolan). I was thinking about getting a VPS but was afraid of even more noise.

I haven't heard about the VPS noise issues, but CIMA Intl. replaces the VPS/Scratched shields under warranty. Call 866-2HELMET or e-mail helmets@aol.com for more info......

The VPS is standard on the X-1002 and an option on the N100E.

If the helmet was manufactured before Sept '03 then you have to replace the faceshield as well. In newer helmets all you buy is the VPS.

VPS came yesterday! I had to order the "black" fitting kit as my color is back-ordered until Christmas. Oh, well. I'm going to give it the full test tonight, so I'll tell you all if the noise bothers me.

Sorry to hear of the "rubbing" issues, but the two visors do not touch on my helmet. I've had my Nolan N100E for 3 years so I was required to replace the face shield. The old shields are not compatable and will apparently rub against the VPS shield.

I chose this option because I wear glasses and don't want to fiddle with prescription sunglasses.

Here are some pictures.

What kind of sound system is that in your helmet? I also have the N100E and want to upgrade as you have (both with sound and visor).

It's the standard Autocom phones and headset. My wife and I love the Autocom.
