View Full Version : Another "Thumbs up" for Sargent

I got my new Sargent installed last Friday. It seemed pretty firm at first, but once I got a chance to go for a short (45 minutes) ride it settled in to the shape of my butt real well. It gives me very even support without hotspots. I'm looking forward to a 200 to 300 mile road test before I pass final judgement.
I got the Griptex with black welt, and it looks great on my bike. The seat shape allowed me to raise the seat height up a notch versus the stocker and my knees really appreciate the change.

Glad you like it. I've found that placing the front of the seat in the highest position, and the rear in the middle position works best for me. The rear if the seat where I sit is not any higher, but I no longer slide up when riding. And the knees feel better.
Enjoy

That's where I've got mine set now. With the stock seat I had the front in the middle position and the back as low as it would go. You really had to push hard to get it to drop in.
