Just got my Highway wings from Mike Roberts- well worth the wait. They were pricey, and took 4 months to get, but really nicely made and very comfy. He hand makes these, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the finish is top notch. You can get cheaper highway pegs for the ST1100, but I wanted a nice clean look. These things fold up and dissappear into the tipover wings, and you can open and close them with your feet when needed. I am psyched. The bike is almost ready for my Mexico adventure in October!

Those do look cool... ;)

I would like to measure how much farther forward/Outward/Lower the Steed Sticks are in comparison... One thing for sure is,,, you don't have to worry about the Wings being the first thing to drag going into a corner folded...

Yes those are VERY nice. I have seen a few sets in person and if / when I ever buy pegs for my bike it WILL be those. Paint them black (or powdercoat) and you'd never see them on the bike. VERY nice and clean.

Do you know if he makes them for the 1300? Just got mine and really, really, really want a pair.
Has anyone seen any hiway pegs for a 1300? And if so, where?

Thanks! :D

Sweet looking product! Can you tell me if there is much vibration comming through them? It seems to me that there would be a fare amount
but I'm just guessing.
Let's here it from the expert users.

Thanks,
Moby

You can see Bucks pegs at www.bucksporttouring.com. His mount on the top side of the tipover wing. I'm thinking that if you dropped the bike you wouldn't damage the pegs. Is there a chance of damaging the Steed Sticks if the bike is dropped?

Mike Roberts' wings are currently being manufactured by a friend of Mike's, named Dwayne. You can reach him at ddwhisler@verizon.net. And I am almost certain he does make them for the 1300 as well.

From time to time he puts a set for sale on ebay, but mostly they're built as orders come in.

I have them on my 04 1300 and they are great. No vibration and they are very comfortable between the twisty sections of road.

Thanks Ken, those are a lot more along the lines of what I'd like:

I just don't like all the shiny metal.. if it was all black anodized then I think it would sell like hotcakes ala-mode.

And they are in stock for immediate delivery. As of this morning we have about 80 sets for the 1300 and about 10 sets for the 1995 and newer 1100 in stock.
