Aircraft nuts

I absolutely detest the black plastic studs that Honda use for holding the plastic together! Has any one else found anything to replace these with? I am thinking of trying aircraft nuts. They are like a pop rivet but are a nut. Obviously they would have to be SS and so would the screws.

If your talking about press nuts, they'd have to be pretty big. I could see using clip on nut plates, but that would be a pain. Some people are using the screws from the mirror deflectors. Maybe, you could get the part numbers from them.
