It was a lot of hard work but I finally got it done.

I love it; I have attached a pic of the STeed with new equipment. Shown at idle just about 8 inches off the ground. :D

Note the downward angled mufflers which provide extra pollution control and superior stability when cornering.

I thought brakes were superfluous on hover craft. That's actually the third task for the mufflers; like a sea anchor, you just drop them when needing to scrub-off speed. I suspect the calipers, like the human appendix, are no longer necessary.

Yes, I will need to remove those pesky brakes; I keep trying to grap the lever instead of just using the air-brakes. That is going to get me in a bind.

Not related, but could I see a shot of the mounting bracket for the cruise control switch on your non-hoverized '04?

Mark,
I'm in Alabama at the moment but I'll post a pic or two when I get back Friday or Saturday. A buddy of mine made it and probably has the specs he used if you're interested.

yeah, you would have to put the saddlebags back on for stability at speed, because they double as tailwings. We all know what the front wings are, they sure do work well for being so small.

Honda unveils it’s answer to numerous complaints flooding in about the OEM Bridgestone "fall, on turn in" tire issues. The secret development garage is rumored to be located in the vicinity of Area 51.

Yep, I'll have to see if Carl T can make me a Trojan Man costume and I can fly around the HoverSteed instead of a regular horse.

Figure I should post a link for that comment, seeing how it sounds a little weird: http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6166

I finally got around to installing the kit on mine tonight. Tires were getting to expensive so this was a more cost effective solution for me. :04biker:

As far as I know we have the only 2 in the world. Do you get funny looks going down the road too??

Okay, Charlie/Mellow we will need the HoverSTeed Smilies in Blue and Silver. :D

My Silver HoverSTeed is faster than your Blue one; nanna nnaaannnaaa bbubu :p: Had to do it, but probably not true, as your Blue one has "1 million" miles on it. Nice Pic, we may just start a trend.

Ok, now that I've rolled over 12K in 4 months, and the OEM tires are in need of replacement, perhaps I should be considering the Hover Farkle for my Red? I would certainly run faster without the drag created by the tires...

Mark,

I saw the cruise install pics on the STWiki website. The blue bike is my dad's bike, but you put the bracket down as mine. Not trying to nit-pick, but just wanted to make sure that I don't get credit for something I didn't do. Could you change that to reflect that the bracket is my dad's?

My dad's name on this board is ALANT.

Thanks,

Scott

This would normally be the place where I say "the cool thing about STWiki is that you can sign up and edit the page yourself using only your web browser."

But I took care of it...

I signed up! That was almost painless. :D

Thanks for changing that for me, I was trying to get it changed without being an a$$hat, and trying to let everyone here know that it was my dads bike and bracket.
Thanks for the STwiki website Mark.
