Took the BeaST for a 4,000 service Saturday. Dealer told me rear tire was soft, didn't tell me there was a two-and-a-half inch nail in it. I found that myself when I got home! I plugged the Bridgestone and it's holding up. But I like to ride fast AND I like to stay alive, so I guess there's no choice but to spring for a new tire.
I'd planned to switch to Metzler when the time came to change tires, but now I have to change the rear tire only. Does anyone have experience of mixing the Metz on the back with the OEM Bridgestone on the front?
I'd also appreciate suggestions on where to buy at a good price.
