I installed new 55/60W headlight bulbs (Honda) to replace my weak 45W OEM bulbs. They fit just fine and the additional light is significant. My problem is that after 2 weeks of use, I get no light all with the switch in the Hi-Beam position. I re-checked all the connections to the Kissan hedlight modulator and sensor - all looks fine. Next I was gonna pull the bulbs to see if the high beam filaments were intact, but seems highly unusual that both would go out at the same time.....any experience or suggestions?

Yep - open up your left hand handlebar switch housing (with Hi-Low beam switch) and spray some fast drying electrical cleaner in there. This same thing happened to me once and it hasn't done it since. This is a common thing many ST owners have had happen at one time or another.

Thanks, Jason....I'll give that a try tonight and let ya know how it works.

Turns out the headlight modulator had died. After checking the fuses and cleaning the switch, it was obvious the modulator was not working. So, whipped out the credit card - new modulator, new bulbs (with shims), and a new Laminar Lip for my Clearview. Now its time to ride! :biker:

WD-40 is not what I consider a "lubricant". At least not long term. It is a volatile solution that evaporates fairly quickly and was used for Water Displacement - hence its name.
A good silicone or synthetic spray lube should suffice.
