Jackets Olympia Motosport AST Jacket new color

On the verge of purchasing a new Aerostich jacket . . . but just discovered on the Olympia Motosport web site that the AST comes in a new color: Sand/Black. Its an ivory looking color (sand . . .) with black trim.

Looks pretty cool and might be a good option without the brightness of my present Hi-Viz jacket that hurts my eyes. I know Hi-Viz is higher profile, but I don't enjoy wearing it.

Any one purchase this new color yet, and if so, how do you like it??

We think alike. Do u fell self conscious wearing the high viz one? I do but getting over it because it really works. For some reason I get all self conscious that everyone is watching me. Oh, Im partly insane so it may explain it a bit.

Isn't that the point to get people to see you? I love my Olympia AST in Hi Vis Neon Yellow, I also have an Olympia Phantom in Neon Yellow, I like to be seen.

I could care less what people think when I'm wearing my Roadcrafter Hi-Viz suit. One of the benefits is that drivers seem to slow down when behind me or move over. Being seen or having them know your there is far more important as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed! I have a high Viz Bushwaker and a high viz Airglide II. Best jackets Ive owned.

I've lost count at the number of people who comment "Wow, that jacket's bright" or "Can't miss seeing you." My reply is "Yes, that's the idea."

+1 on Olympia, whatever color.

Hi-Vis Bushwacker here. It gets the looks, and that is the purpose.
