I'm thinking about taking my Heli-Risers off. What should the stock plate be torqued to?

According to the HeliBars installation instructions on their site, the large bolt gets 14 foot pounds, and the smaller bolts get 12 foot pounds.

I just installed my Heli's tonight and I was surprized that the stock bolts were on SOOOO tight!! They were far more tight than the torque specs that Heli provides. I'm going to call Heli and confirm that their torque specs are tight enough.
How long did you have your Heli's on?? May I ask why you're removing them?
Mine seem to sit me a little more upright than I care for, but I tend to lock my arms straight and that won't happen with the Heli's and that's a good thing as far as I can tell. I also think I like the angle of my hands. I just want to see if the upright seating position is too much. I didn't get to test ride tonight so I'll take it out tomorrow.
Take care,
David
