Anyone here in the USA got hold of a Euro spec headlight assy (for offroad use only, of course)? Does it use normal H4 bulbs?

I am curious as to whether or not it there would be a better focused beam of light with the Euro spec headlights.
My last 4 5 cars have all had euro spec headlight installed in them or I installed them, and they made a huge difference. They are also 100% street legal in Canada.
Keep up the search, I am sure someone from Europe will chime in.

Not sure if this helps, but I put the Euro (continental, not UK) headlight in my ST1100. It uses H4s, and has a significantly better beam pattern than the US headlight, especially on low beam. It wasn't cheap, but I think it was worth every penny.
I got it from David Silver spares in the U.K. Just make sure they know you need the Continental / US beam pattern (Left Hand drive). I had to email them directly to get pricing information.

But being in the USA they need the continental euro headlamp assembly, not the UK one. As Stuey says, the UK one uses H4's and so it's going to be a certainty that the continental euro one will too.
