Here,,, in my opinion,,, is the BEST,,, little compressor around...

You plug it in cigarette lighter plug...

Attach the hose to the tire which will then show you digitally the pressure of your tire... Even shows pressure in 1/2 psi increments...

Need air in it??? Just set the compressor at 42psi or what ever and turn on the compressor... When it hits 43psi it will shut off... (((it goes 1 psi over to allow for air leaking out getting valve off)))

SHAZZAM!!!

And,,, it is a thin small size which stows easy... I had 1 of these for about 4 years now and I use it ALL,,, THE TIME!!! Far easier than firing up the big compressor!!! And,,, right now it is only 19.99!!! I paid more than that 4 years ago as mine was from the original company before they started making these for Sears... I swear,,, most people only ask me to ride with them if I agree to bring this compressor with me on the ride!!! :D

Granted,,, it is tight,,, but 30 different people have used this one of mine and all but some Einsteins who couldn't pour water out of a boot were able to use it...

I used it on my Connie which was just as tight,,, and now my ST 1300...

ACL, your such a tease...

My wife says the same thing... ;)

Oh,,, and I will call Sears and find out the scoop on ordering this as I need 2 more as 1 needs to stay up at the farm,,, and 1 in the Car too...

I bought a Campbell Hausfeld Air Compressor at Wal-Mart (not the one everyone mods) that is basically the shape of a box that's about 3.5" x 8 x 8. It has a storage compartment for the hose. It doesn't have a gauge but I bought one for $15 that I can put inline with it and can use with my pump or with and service station hose. Also bought a right-angle valve stem adaptor from the BMW shop. It's the one they put in some of the GS tool kits I think.

How do they compare to the "Cycle Pump" from www.cyclepump.com ??

Tor~~~

For $10 more with the Sears model you get,,,

Digital Read out of what your tire pressure is...

Inflats your tires to the exact pressure,,, and then shuts off... ;)

You can get the same one that you are showing at Walmart too... I think same price...

Psst~~~

The Cycle Pump Does not have,,,

Digital read out... You inflate,,, take it off to check pressure,,, put it back on,,, inflate some more,,, check again...

It won't shut off when it gets to the proper pressure like the Sears...

But,,, it does cost $60 more and comes in a shiny box,,, I will give you that...

I use a Jastek BMW type plug on my right side fairing.I use it for my GPS and to inflate tires w/ my cyclepump. Do you have to connect these two other air pumps to the battery or can I continue to use the BMW outlet w/ a 12v converter?
TIA!

The Sears has the old fashion Cigarette lighter end on it...

I too have the BMW style outlets on my bike but I just have a converter that I use on this and other things I seem to find I need to plug into the bike...

I don't need no stinkin readout :D I use a tire gauge. I will admit though,,,,,,,,, that auto-shut off would be nice, ON THE REAR WHEEL. But seriously, that little blue box don't take up much space at all. Have used it several times to top off the pressure with when away from home. Had to cut the lighterplug off and put a Powerlet plug on to make it fit into my Powerlets. But other than that, great unit.

Why not just get a converter and not worry about it... That way,,, when someones phone/travel light/whatever needs plugged in,,, your good to go...

I carry the Walmart one which everyone cuts down in the pocket behind the seat along with my really cool small jumper cables... It is there,,, always ready,,, always prepared... ;)

This Sears one I take on rides away from home... I have some friends that I should buy them 1 of these just so they will quit borrowing mine!!!

Louie, Louie,,,Been trying to get a hold of ya,,,,your Kili Air Jacket,,,what size is it,,XL? and how tall are you? I will be ordering a regular Kili, and just assume the sizes are close to what the Air Kili is. I'm 6'2".

6 ft 2 and just a Large??? What,,, do you weigh 155 pounds?!?!? :D

I am 6ft 3,,, or at least I was... I swear I am shrinking... ;)

I weigh,,, on a good day,,, which,,, admittedly,,, has been a while  about 220...

I have the Air Timbuktu which is the twin of the Kili jacket and I have it in size XXL... It is "Roomy" without the liner in yes... But,,, that is the way I like it... With the liner in,,, it fits just right... I should have gotten a XL Tall but,,, the place didn't have talls so,,, I upped my size a shade...

Tor

Uhh, looks like you're at least 6'2". Well, guess it'll be a toss betw. L and XL. On the regular Kilimanjaro, I want to be able to put something under it, even though it has a fleece liner. Trying to get me something good to wear in the fall/winter.

I think that you can add to the cycle pump the inline gauge that I added to my pump. http://www.bestrestproducts.com/celestia/order/orderform/?recno=25

This thing is available from a lot of places. I bought one in the mall at X-Mas time for $15.

Just used my setup last night to figure out what amp fuse I need. Somewhere between 3 and 10 Amps. I'll just stick with 10 Amps. I use the battery tender SAE hookup that I have hooked to the battery and then bought a SAE to cigarette light adaptor at Walmart for $4. So I just hookup to the battery tender cable with the adaptor and plug in the pump to the adaptor.

Curt, I assume any typical pump fitting will fit the brass fitting on the guage right?

I have a separate guage and it would be great it it was connected in line.

Also, the guages that are on some pumps vibrate so much, you can't read it well. I'm assuming the guage is steady during pump-age. LOL

I might get the digital pump but I like the inline guage to use for my other one.

Curt..I tried using the SAE/battery tender combination and it blew a fuse when I connected the Cyclepump! (Can you please explain what I did wrong?? I'm dyslexic and mechanically challenged!l lol) . No problems w/ the BMW plug though. I do have the gauge you mention. However, the all in one package seems nice.

Well,,, I went to Sears and bought everyone they had!!! :D

Ok,,, they only had 3 but,,, they were the $19.99 and this Sears 1 looks even cooler than my 4 year old 1 and it was cheaper too!!!

Why,,, 3???

1 to replace the 4 year old 1 I have in my shop...

1 to go into my car...

and the old one gets retired to the Farm shop...

I am giving away 1 as a family "Grab Bag" Christmas present and I am going to wrap it up so,,, I can try and pick it out and bring it home as most presents we have at the $20 grab bag,,,, S U C K!!!

Well, after reading the posts, I decided to buy one of the Sears Air Compressors. Whoops, I forgot I was in Canada and they don't ship here. The Canadian Sears Online don't have it even listed. So, I called a store just north of Port Huron and they have one in stock. However, they couldn't take an order over the phone even with a Sears card. The girl there, (Sherry) said that she would take it as a Rain Check and put it on hold for me!!! Wow, what great service considering I'm in Canada.

So, I will be driving to Port Huron (actually, it's Fort Gratiot) and I will pick up the recommended compressor.

Hmm, compressor is $19.99 ($25.00 CDN) - - - gasoline to get it $25.00. Total $50.00!!! I guess I just like driving the ST too much!!!! :) :)

"IF",,, I wasn't married,,, and happily,,, almost deliriously I might add,,, :bow1: and "The Lovely Cindy has already audited the "Travel Quota" for this year and it seems that I have "Over Traveled" about 10 days this year already to what she agreed to,,, and signed off on... :D

"IF",,, I was not in the middle of Harvest...

I would have bought these all,,, and scheduled delivery to everyone who wanted one... THAT,,, is how much I LOVE,,, to ride... :biker:

I decided on the sparrow from CST. Cant beat the price and quality in my humble opinion. I'v had the cycle from www.cyclepump but the wires were not sturdy enough.I'm a air compressor junkie and I believe this it the best, and it fits in the right fairing.
Austin, were you happy with the unit you got at Sears? If so,do u have another link bro?
