Conroe (just N or Houston) has a great place for pie....and has a great menu as well.

Two Wheel Texas and ADV riders have meet there in the past. It's not exactly on the way to SA but it's good. I'll come up with some more "on route" locations.

Goode company BBQ on Kirby is pretty good. Midway Meat Market in Katy is my favorite BBQ place plus Jeff the old guy who runs the BBQ joint rides a motorcycle.

Leaving for Colorado on the 30th of July........would be a great chance to get the PE up to Oklahoma City...:07biker:
