I remember seeing this a long time ago and thinking it was pretty cool. Not the best looking motorcycle in the world, but this is the bike that led to the modern ST. It was unveiled at the 1999 Tokyo show.

What if the ST had been given a V6?

thats what i think my bike looks like when im parked with a bunch of harleys. i say that because i went to a bike night and when i parked it on the centerstand walked away and looked back it just looked sooooo futuristic next to the hogs. if honda ever builds this bike im gonna want one. :04biker:

If Honda would build a V-6 ST that didn't sound like a sewing machine I would be in line for one, no matter how ugly it was. More power is always a good thing to me.

Interesting to see how much of the style did make it into production... The side panels and the fairing edge for two aren't that far from the ST.

I agree with the Harley remark. A client of mine has a new generation Indian Chief (S&S). It is a beautiful machine. The ST looks like an alien spacecraft next to it. :)

Yeah, remember this one ... agree the side panels did make it to the ST1300 .. amazing huh ? ... which means -oh no- the dog thing is on it's way to production as we speak !!!! :eek:

Maybe the dog thing would be a good idea, then people would be less inclined to be driving around with Fido on their laps - common around here.

The other day I saw a guy shaving as he blasted down the freeway! :eek:
