I used the liner and leather gloves this morning (37) and loved the lining nice n toasty. You could really feel the heat. My gloves that also attach to the outlets on the liner great gloves just not all together sure I'm getting heat? My hands are warm but don't feel the toasty'ness. I was wondering if they use a lower wattage so it works well with the liner. So your hands don't melt while and you have to turn it off, but you still need the warmth for the torso. Hope I'm not rambling...

I recently puchased the liner and gloves from Gerbings and this weekend will be the first time I get to try out my combination in colder weather. I am told by people using them that the 2 zone controller seems to work best to balance heat between the liner and gloves. When using the gloves and liner together, the liner will be warmer without any control. I puchased the single zone control that will give me the option to control the heat for the combination or limit heat to either the liner or gloves individually. Need to check out the heat output in 30-40 degree weather and 10-20 degree weather to see how things balance.

I use the two zone controller with the gloves and the jacket liner (Gerbing). Both get very toasty, it's almost therapeutic.
No more winterizing your bike.

I'll 2nd the dual zone controller. When I purchased my gloves they asked me if it was for a new or older jacket and if was going to run the dual controller? Since mine was 5 years old they asked me to send in my jacket so they could update the plugs and wiring for the dual controller. The People at Gerbings are 1st rate. I sent in my jacket on Friday and by Wednesday I had my jacket, gloves and dual controller back. There were no shipping charges or charges to update/ change the wiring.
My combination will actually make me sweat even in 30deg cold.
