Couple of shots of Margaret's '05 and my '03. In a pinch, I know where I can get a spare part of two on a moment's notice!!

Beautiful sight.
Oh, how I miss Lake Washington (that is the lake, right?). I once lived about a mile and a half from the water's edge. Where was the picture taken?

It is Lake Washington. We live in a great community in Seattle called Sand Point Country Club and the lake is about a half mile or so away from us. Some of the views in the area are just breath taking. This one was shot from behind the 13th (?) tee.

Thanks! And I certainly meant it in the context of fixing hers rather than pilfering parts for mine. Although to be honest, my '03 has been so trouble free that I haven't had to worry about parts for it. What a great ride!

I used to ride my bicycle 10 miles on the Burke-Gillman out to UW every day. I would hop on at the intersection of Bothell Way and Ballinger Way.
More History: I worked at B&N in U-Village during college, and my Uncle owned the Texaco/Shell station on 25th. Spent a lot of time in that area. In high school, my girlfirend and I would frequently visit the Soundgarden. I don't think it's as accessable anymore.
Thanks for reminding me of what I'm missing.

I went to the U of W also and started in Fall, 1965. My father-in-law started Fall of 1935, and now my oldest daughter is starting, Fall 2005. One of the interesting differences between then and now is how much private money is going into rejuvenating the campus. The Gates family and foundation are making a pretty significant impact.
If you ever get out this way, give us a shout and we'll have you out for a family dinner.

The things we have to do to keep peace in the household. I think the reason Maggie's bike may be a little quicker is she polishes it before and after every ride. It's gotta be bug free before we leave the driveway! It was worse when she owned chromed up Harleys (all that metal to shine). :03biker:
