I just took a 6 day trip through CA, AZ and UT and have a few piccies to share. Thought you might like them.
Basically I travelled through Yosemite, Death Valley, Northern AZ, Southern UT, Zion N.P. and back through D.Valley and Yosemite.
Saw a few ST1300 '05's and 04's on the way. Anyone here ?
OK, I'm having problems with the photos. I'll try again in another message!

Here you go. Looks like there is either file size or image W x H issue. Sorry for the inferior quality [the originals are 6 Mpixels so the file sizes are quite large].
2nd pic is of the mountains on the left side my avatar...
Sedona is a very pretty place and as long as you rode it on a weekday the roads are fun...

Well spotted! The whole ride down to Sedona is well worth it. I came in from the north side and down through the gorge. Very beautiful. It was a weekday and traffic was light. I guess that town is really busy at weekends due to the amazing views. Probably 90% of Arizonan motorcyclists head up there this time of year since the temps. are relatively cool!!
I have to say, the Arizonan and Utah-ian sunsets are the most spectacular things I've ever seen. Very picture-esque.
Texxter, I would strongly advise you to visit these parts of the world. They're definitely motorcycle country!
So here's a list of the piccies:
1) Mono Lake, CA [HWY 395]
2) Sedona, AZ [US-89A]
3) Big Water, UT [US-89]
4) Somewhere near Kanab, UT [US-89]
5) Lake Powell, (AZ/UT border) [US-89]
6) Zion N.P., UT [SR-9]
7) Death Valley, CA [SR-190]
8) Death Valley Junction, CA [SR-190]
9) Cloud's Rest peak, Yosemite, CA [SR-108]
10) Mono Lake, looking south over HWY 395, CA

I just had to add this one as well.
This is just before I got to Kanab and just before I got busted for speeding! Actually the Officer was very pleasant with me and we got talking about GPS's and all manner of things. He let me off with a warning!!
It was actually what I needed! Sometime you get into a 'speed' mode when you should be absorbing the scenery!
The colors in this photo have not been doctored or touched up in any way. Just an FYI.

Thanks for such great images. I have some fond memories of Kanab and surrounds. When I was a kid (mid to late 50''s) I spent several summers with my grandparents in Kanab. My grandfather was the chief cinematographer for the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam. I had some great summers there! :bow1:
