I would like to think this was my inspiration but alas, I forget who it was that mentioned doing something like this, BUT was talked into doing the LED in the Mirror thing. I tried it . Didn't particullarily care for it.
So , what ws mentioned was mounting the indicator light in the small quarter size holes right and left side of the instrument cluster.
Well , it works for me. Bought 2 194 sockets, about $2 each, wired then into the turnsignals and installed them by taking the back cowl off. Took about 10 minutes to take off, hardest part of the whole thing :)
Hopefully the attached pictures and the one short video clip will explain all. I used Blue bulbs because they are Faster :D
I also took a black magic marker and blacked out the bulb housing so it dosen't show thru the hole. There is absolutely no interference with the shiled going up and down. I love it :hotpepper
