Dave,

I don't see them listed on your site. Is it senility on my part, or is there a trick to finding them?

Thanks and sorry if they're right in front of me.

Hopefully Dave will reply but we let me know that http://www.amotostuff.com will be selling them. Not sure but that's the email I got from Dave.

Last I heard from Dave, tires will be available 11/1 for shipping. Somehow they got held up last week.

Are the Pilot Roads going to be available from now on, or is this just till the supply that was stocked here in the US is exhausted?

This is a new shipment so it appears that places will be getting more shipped to the US as their supplies run out.

I will be pushing them through an on-line retailer. Being a distributor, I
cannot sell new product direct - too many hassles!

http://www.sporttour.com/

http://www.amotostuff.com

They will be stocking the tires. They have placed orders and will have stock
within 5 days. Michelin has 100 18" fronts for us In Chicago but
did not put them on the Monday and Tuesday trucks like we asked.

The tires are in Hartford today and will be shipping from us today via UPS.

Michelin has 100 more fronts slated for US import. These are in the production que per Michelin France.

Please mail me at dave@motorace.com if you have any questions. Thanks!

Ordered mine today!!

I am going to take the tires off in advance of receiving (a day or so)..
My dealer is charging me 10.00 per tire mounting.

Clean and Lube the splines once the rear is off..
Putting the tire/axle back on..Using Calsci's instructions..is there a torque setting for tightening the axle??

I had 11psi in the beginning of my ride yesterday! Yikes!
Can't wait until these are on!

Sounds like you need a set of these Valve Caps! (http://www.accupressurecaps.com/?source=gg&camp=accup&term=tire%20pressure%20caps)

Cool..Or not be so lazy and check them!
Do you have these?? I'm thinking of getting them..

Probably go with 40PSI?? Since I can only order either 40 or 44.

I don't have them but would go with the 44psi ones. The yellow shows at 4psi under inflated. Which would be 40psi. Red shows at 10psi under inflated or 34psi.

You could also break down and buy this SmarTire (http://www.smartire.com/products/motorcycles/)

Took it Sunday afternoon. My niece just loves the bike so I took her down 9W. The ski trails in the background are at West Point.
I just love this indian summer.

Finally got my bike back yesterday and got 60 miles on the bike today with the new hoops. Definatley have a hum to them. Much better handling characteristics..
Feels like turns can be more agressive with a much better control factor.
Very Happy so far.

I had the 90 degree valves stems as well. (recommended by HRC Rob..thanks buddy!)

I have to put those Valve cap do-hickeys on yet...
2 weeks without the bike:mad: ..Only one other thing I can't go 2 weeks without:eek:

What, Yoga? :D I forgot about 90 degree valves... got get some of those... thanks ;)My Pilots came in and are sitting in the corner till needed in the spring. I also forgot the 90 degree valves so I ordered them here LINK (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/mySearchResult.cfm?parentcategoryid=&productID=3371&showDetail=1&categoryID=628|Spare%20Wheel%20Parts&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=Ariete&collection=).
I also ordered a balancer from Marc Parnes since I plan on doing my own work. Balancer Link
(http://www.marcparnes.com/Honda_Motorcycle_Wheel_Balancer.htm) I had sent Marc a link from here where I first learned of his balancer LINK (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6859) and he emailed me back concerned about Mongo and his BMW cones that didn't seem to work.
"Hi Bill,
Thank you very much for your order. It will be shipped Priority Mail today.
Please print off the Setup Instructions and the Balancing Procedure.

Enjoy it!

Thanks again,
Marc

PS. I followed the link you supplied and noticed that nobody replied to Mongo's question regarding the cones. I don't belong to that forum so I couldn't respond or email him. If you wouldn't mind could you please let him know that the Universal cone which is part of his BMW balancer hits the seal before it hits the bearing on the non-drive side of the rear wheel. I have a new cone for that application which, by the way, comes with your balancer. If he contacts me I'll get one to him.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Marc"

and from what I can tell, more rubber to roll over on. My chicken strips were in the .125" - .25" range on the axes, while the PR's both are well in excess of .25", rear maybe as much as .375" and I have been far more agressive in the last 3K, than I was in the first 6K. The hum goes away by turning up the ipod!
