GIVI Runnng Lights

A while ago I came upon a thread describing how to rig up the brake lights on the back of the Givi box to work as both running and brake lights. Cant find the thread anymore. I remember it involved a couple of diodes and resistors. Also involved replacing the Givi lights with bright LEDs. Seems like a great idea to make a rider much more visable. Has anyone ever done this? Dan

I went to Radio Shack to get the parts, I think I need to know the amperage for the resistors...Do you know? Are the LEDS much brighter than the original Givi lights? Are the running lights on the box as bright as the taillight? Dan
