A couple more pictures from Montana. Logan Pass is about to close for the winter and there has been several days of valley fog in the low areas.

You'll love Going to the Sun Highway. It connects east and west Glacier via Logan's Pass and the scenery is awesome. AND they don't allow vehicles on the road over 21 ft in length. I'd like to go back on my bike this time.

Been there ! ... tight little road, ain't it ? ... man, the west has it all ... except for those nice fall colours ... :)

I haven't been there since about 1990. I'd say it's time for another visit. When does going to the sun road typically open for the season? It seems that I was there in mid June and it had just been cleared of snow.

They try to have it open for Memorial day weekend. Was there in July of this year, been there many times since my first visit there in 1981 absolutly love it. It was a lot nicer in the early 80s its getting so popular that you will find Mc Donalds etc. close by. The charm of the true wilderness is being spoiled, to bad places like this are getting hard to find. Better see it before they put a ban on vehicles and make you take a bus thru. Waterton park just to the north is another nice place to visit, then work your way north to Banff and Jasper, a lifetime of memories to be had. Sure would be nice to have a Canstoc up there would give everybody an excuse to ride to our neighbors to the north.

I don't know, Canadians are awefully friendly folks and the countyside is beautiful. What if nobody wanted to go home? Oh yeah, I remember now.....they have winter there.

I suppose the decrepid little bar with the dirt floor that sat just outside the park off Many Glacier Rd is gone now. :(
