me and my hommie are in the beginning stages of putting together a ride to the northern new mexico area. taos, angelfire....something like that. anyway, it will probably be a thursday-saturday rally, with wed. and sun being travel days....for us at least (riding from dallas). we will likely leave dallas wed and ride most of the way. then arive in taos or where ever we decide to stay on thursday morning. ride the twisties untill saturday. then start heading for home saturday evening or sunday morning. we're looking at mid may.
i am just trying to get an idea of how many people we can expect. if you think you might want to go, lets hear from you. let's see....me, jeff.....that's 2 so far.
the ride will be on the sc cog http://www.concours.org/sc/calendar.htm calendar as soon as we nail down a firm date and a few details.
this is a COG ride, technically, but anyone is welcome.

That's a long way off but I'd very definitely be interested!:D

I recommend staying away from Memorial Day -- unless you want to ride with 35,000 other "buddies".
Also, be sure to take the rain gear. Afternoon mountain showers are common. But the mornings are cool and crisp. :04biker:

I'd certainly go. Been on a lot of COG rides, mostly in Colorado.
Count me in!
