Sargent Seat on E-Bay ?????

Have Seen this Sargent Seat FS on E-Bay and was wondering wassup ?


I mean he sells it for $469. It's a Standard seat in either black or Silver trim, Carbon FX

I sent them an e-mail on return policy , got this back.

Not too Bad, but a slight risk, but then Sargent site says the same seat is $619.

Any thoughts ?

He has sold several seats, and these keep popping up.

I ordered mine from them. Fast service had it in 2 wks, new from Sargent through them.

Best price out there for new, and I looked around for awhile.

I bought a ST1300 seat set from them and it came in faster than promised. I would buy from them again.:)

They recently up'd their price as the seat use to cost somewhere around $550 I thought. Hmmm looks like I have the only seat the appreciates in value. ;)

I purchased my seat and matching backrest from California Sport Touring (http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=st1300_seats)

It took 3 weeks but love the seat. It was more than the ebay price but cheaper than direct from Sargent (http://www.sargentcycle.com/howsst1300.htm).

I have to say the seat is worth every penny, my wife also loves it with backrest on it.

I, too, bought one from eBay over the Internet and was a tad wary, but it came in just as promised, on time and was in the condition it should have been - perfect. I also got the $469 price. They pinged the credit card for $489.68 including shipping. I'd expect there is some risk not doing business with Sargent, but worked for me this time.

I also have a Russell on order - had planned a ride-in, but an accident put the "skids" on that idea - and have the Sargent while the stock seat is with them. The Sargent was a great improvement over stock, still looking for a little more ... ummm ... "width" support... :D
