Does anyone know where to get covers for the connectors on AutoCom Systems? I want to protect the pins incase of rain when it is sitting outside.

Thanks :)

I just leave enough lead dangling so that the ends droop down. I have been doing this for 2 years with my Autocom system.

Do like I did, go bottle-cap huntin'. Lots of fun.:D I found a couple of plastic caps that fit just right.

Kinda blurry, but ya get the idea.

Try McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com). Put "masking caps" into the search box and visit the pages in the results. The "Static Control Polyethylene Caps" on page 3493 have a nice ridge around the top that makes them easier to deal with when you have gloves on.

You have to buy them in 50s or 100s, but they're relatively cheap.

You may want to check out some dust caps from hydraulic quick coupler fittings. They come in various sizes and have a leash. I have one for my old autocom and it works ok.

The link above was just for the picture. You can pick these things up in any shop selling hydraulic lines. In my neck of the woods Princess Auto is a good source as will be any Cat dealer.
