I have little tolerance for shops that just rip you off, but as quick as I am to criticize, I try to be equally quick when I get good service. My Pilots arrived yesterday and after checking 4 or 5 shops in the Seattle area, the one that was closest was also the lowest. Both tires installed and balanced, out the door for $120. Picked up the bike toward the end of the day when I figured they'd be interested in getting my money and getting me out the door as quickly as they could. Nope.
Checked to make sure all of the recalls had been taken care of. Found a couple of fasteners loose and tightened those. Throttle cable was a little too loose for their liking and they tightened that as well. After some friendly chatter for another 5-10 minutes, the service manager reminded me to take it easy on the new tires until they had been scrubbed in. Nice guys to do business with. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back." Maggie too.
