Got these a while back. Since I was so satisfied with my Held Steve I bought this summer, I though I would get winter gloves of the same brand. The Narvik's are the same top quality as the Steve's but of course a lot thicker. They are precurved (or at least seemed to be). Because of the precurve, the first few rides with these gloves they felt somewhat stiff and cumbersome. Had some problems reaching over the clutch lever. However, it got better after 2-3 rides, as the fingers straightened out by being used. Palm is covered with reenforced cow hide with Cordura Back. The claim to be waterproof, but can't confirm (have not used them in the rain yet). The inside is covered by 3M Thinsulate. They have padding across nuckles, and all fingers, as well as padding in the palm.

Using handlebar controls with these gloves is no problem. You just don't feel the controls. The patch you see in the picture is really blue when you look at it, but is made from a reflective material, so using the flash on the camera produced a lighter color.

All in all, I like them. No problems staying warm.

tor, what kinda temps? I ride down to 20F as long as the roads are clean.

I have some JR's that do pretty well warmthwise, but I can't seem to get comfy with lever feel... can get down right retarded with my clutch once in a while, don't like it.

I have used them down to around 30F, and it kept my hands plenty warm. As for clutch/brake control, I had some "problems" when I first got them, until they straightened out and softened up a little. But the first couple of rides were a bi&ch. I don't have any problems now though. They soften and stretch pretty fast. I bought XL, same size as I bought the Steve's, and the Narviks was just right size-wise.
